At this softer end of the hardness scale, the rubber deflects up to 1.3 mm under its rated maximum load of 5.8 kg, delivering the greater compliance and lower dynamic stiffness that lighter or vibration-sensitive equipment demands. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives this mount its structural integrity across shear, compression, and combined loading directions. The 45 Shore A grade is purposefully chosen where the priority is absorbing lower-frequency vibration with maximum compliance rather than limiting travel, precisely the characteristic that protects sensitive instruments, compact air-conditioning units, and lightly loaded industrial machinery from transmitted shock and structure-borne noise. The mount also improves operator comfort and helps extend the service life of surrounding structures by decoupling vibration at source.
