The 70 Shore A rubber hardness grade is selected where controlled movement matters as much as vibration attenuation: the stiffer compound holds components firmly in position under high-load or impact conditions whilst still providing the rubber-to-metal bonded damping that protects surrounding structures and improves machinery lifespan. The mount is configured male-male (Type A / Type 1) with M16 x 44 threaded studs on both faces, allowing direct bolted installation into equipment frames, chassis rails, sub-frames or base plates. At 100 mm diameter by 30 mm height, it offers a large bonding surface that distributes load evenly across the rubber element. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction means the assembly can accept loading in shear, compression, or a combination of both, providing design flexibility in demanding installations. This 70 Shore grade is well suited to diesel engines, generator sets, heavy industrial machinery, and off-highway or construction equipment, applications where the mount must restrain significant mass, absorb shock and impact loads, and prevent excessive movement rather than prioritise maximum isolation. It is also used in power generation, marine, agricultural, railway and mass transit, military and defence installations. Custom sizes and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request.
