At 70 Shore A, the firmest grade in this geometry. It is designed specifically for applications where the mounted item must be held securely under heavy, variable, or impact loading, minimising unwanted movement whilst still absorbing transmitted shock and vibration. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction ensures a robust, durable connection between mount and structure, and the mount is capable of being loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both. The firm 70 Shore A compound is well suited to installations requiring positional restraint alongside vibration attenuation, balancing effective isolation with the structural resistance that heavy equipment demands. Custom variants in stainless steel metal and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request for demanding environments. Typical applications include diesel engines, generator sets, industrial machinery and equipment, exhaust mountings, and air-conditioning units across sectors such as power generation, construction and off-highway, agriculture, marine, automotive, and military and defence. This grade is the appropriate choice where softer compounds would allow excessive movement or where the dynamic load or shock loading makes a lower-hardness mount unsuitable. Softer and medium grades of this 70x45mm M10 geometry are available as 7045MF25-45 and 7045MF25-60 for applications requiring greater deflection and enhanced low-frequency isolation.
