With a rated maximum load of 64.0 kg with a controlled deflection of 2.6 mm, the 4030MF23-60 is a 40 x 30 mm male-female bobbin mount supplied with an M8 x 23 male stud and M8 female thread, vulcanised at 60 Shore A, the medium hardness grade within the 40 x 30 mm family. At this grade, the mount delivers a practical balance between vibration isolation and structural support, making it well suited to compact or moderately loaded installations where neither excessive stiffness nor pronounced deflection is desirable. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives the unit durability in service, and the medium rubber hardness allows the mount to operate effectively in shear, compression, or a combination of both loading modes. At 60 Shore A the grade sits between the greater deflection of softer variants and the higher load resistance of firmer grades, providing a broad-application middle ground. Custom options including stainless steel hardware and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request. Male Female Bobbin Mounts referred to as Type B Bobbin or Type 2 Bobbins. They are a low-cost solution to reducing vibration & shock and are used in applications where a bolt fixing is required. They can be used in either Shear of Compression or a combination of both and can be produced with different thread variations. Many additional sizes are also offered, and the Bobbins can also be produced in Stainless Steel and Oil Resistant & High Temperature rubber compounds.
