Balancing vibration isolation with structural support, the 2530MF20-60 is a male-female bobbin mount sized at 25 mm diameter by 30 mm height, with M8 x 20 male stud and M8 female thread, rated to a maximum load of 23.0 kg and a deflection of 2.7 mm at 60 Shore A hardness. This medium-grade specification is built to give an effective equilibrium between compliance and load-bearing capacity, making it the practical choice for installations where neither pure isolation nor rigid restraint is the priority. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction allows the mount to be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both. The 60 Shore A rubber compound occupies the central band of the hardness range: softer than firm grades yet stiff enough to provide controlled movement, it reduces transmitted vibration and shock whilst maintaining predictable deflection behaviour under steady operational loads. The compact 25 x 30 mm envelope suits installations with limited mounting footprints or where weight is a consideration. This mount serves the broad middle ground of machinery mounting applications, including air-conditioning units, instruments, industrial machinery and equipment, and generator sets operating at moderate load levels. It is suited to industries such as power generation, agriculture, construction and off-highway, automotive, and marine, wherever a versatile single-component mount is required. Stainless steel hardware and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request for more demanding environments.
Male Female Bobbin Mounts referred to as Type B Bobbin or Type 2 Bobbins. They are a low-cost solution to reducing vibration & shock and are used in applications where a bolt fixing is required. They can be used in either Shear of Compression or a combination of both and can be produced with different thread variations. Many additional sizes are also offered, and the Bobbins can also be produced in Stainless Steel and Oil Resistant & High Temperature rubber compounds.
