Compact and versatile, this 25x15mm male-female bobbin mount is sized for lighter installations where a balanced response to both vibration isolation and structural support is required. Carrying a maximum load of 35.0 kg with a controlled deflection of 1.2 mm, the 60 Shore A rubber grade occupies the productive middle ground of the hardness range, firm enough to support the load, compliant enough to absorb vibration without excessive movement. Thread configuration is M6 x 18 mm male stud (d1) and M6 female thread (d2), suited to compact instrument panels, light-duty machinery housings, and sensitive equipment where both mount axes are in service. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction gives this mount its characteristic combination of dimensional stability and vibration attenuation. The medium-hardness rubber works in shear, compression, or a combination of both loading directions, making it adaptable across a range of compact mounting arrangements. Installations on air-conditioning units, generator set ancillaries, instrumentation frames, and light industrial equipment are well matched to the 60 Shore A characteristic: the grade offers measurably better isolation than harder alternatives while retaining sufficient stiffness to resist positional drift under steady load. The 25x15mm bobbin is positioned at the lighter end of the male-female range, intended for applications where mounting footprint must remain small and operating loads are modest. Softer grades deliver greater deflection and stronger isolation at still-lower loads; harder grades carry higher loads with less movement.
Male Female Bobbin Mounts referred to as Type B Bobbin or Type 2 Bobbins. They are a low-cost solution to reducing vibration & shock and are used in applications where a bolt fixing is required. They can be used in either Shear of Compression or a combination of both and can be produced with different thread variations. Many additional sizes are also offered, and the Bobbins can also be produced in Stainless Steel and Oil Resistant & High Temperature rubber compounds.
