Both threaded connections are M10, with the male stud measuring M10 x 28 mm, providing a straightforward and secure fitment into standard machinery brackets without adaptation. Constructed using rubber-to-metal bonded technology, this mount is suitable for use in shear, compression or a combination of both loading directions. The 60 Shore A rubber compound delivers the measured deflection characteristic of a medium-hardness grade, offering a practical equilibrium between absorbing transmitted vibration and maintaining positional stability under operating loads. At this hardness, the mount is well suited to applications where machinery must be held firmly yet protected from vibration-induced fatigue in adjacent structures. Male Female Bobbin Mounts referred to as Type B Bobbin or Type 2 Bobbins. They are a low-cost solution to reducing vibration & shock and are used in applications where a bolt fixing is required. They can be used in either Shear of Compression or a combination of both and can be produced with different thread variations. Many additional sizes are also offered, and the Bobbins can also be produced in Stainless Steel and Oil Resistant & High Temperature rubber compounds.
