Balancing isolation performance with structural support, the Female-Female Bobbin Mount 2020FF06-60 is a rubber-to-metal bonded anti-vibration mount measuring 20 x 20 mm with an M6 female thread on each end, rated to a maximum load of 13.7 kg and a controlled deflection of 1.6 mm. At 60 Shore A, this medium-hardness grade occupies the broad middle ground of the range, making it suited to applications where neither maximum compliance nor maximum stiffness is the priority, but a reliable, predictable response to both vibration and moderate shock loading is required. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction enables the mount to be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers flexibility in installation orientation. The 60 Shore A compound delivers a measured deflection characteristic, firm enough to carry its rated load without excessive movement, yet compliant enough to attenuate vibration effectively across general-purpose machinery. Custom variants using oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers, as well as stainless steel metalwork, are available on request for demanding service environments. This mount is suited to many industries and applications including industrial machinery and equipment, generator sets, diesel engines, instrument mounting, agricultural equipment, and marine installations. Its compact 20 x 20 mm footprint makes it appropriate for lighter equipment and installations where space is constrained, whilst its medium hardness grade ensures it handles the load and vibration characteristics typical of general workshop and industrial plant, improving machinery lifespan, protecting surrounding structures, and enhancing operator comfort.
Female Female Bobbins, also referred to as Type C Bobbins or Type 3 Bobbins are a low cost Anti Vibration Mount, suitable for reducing vibration & shock and a vast array of different applications. They should be used in either Shear or Compression or in a combination, however like all bobbins, not put into tension. Bobbins are available with many different thread Sizes, ranging from M3-M24 and in various lengths. Additional Bobbin Mounts sizes are available on request and can be produced in various grades of Stainless Steel and Oil & High Temperature resistant rubbers.
