Balancing vibration isolation with dependable structural support, the 5040FF10-60 is a female-female bobbin anti-vibration mount sized at 50 x 40 mm with M10 internal threads at both ends and a 60 Shore A rubber hardness, the mid-range grade in this geometry that suits compact or load-sensitive installations where neither extreme of softness nor firmness is appropriate. With a maximum load rating of 95.0 kg and a rated deflection of 3.5 mm, it occupies the practical middle ground between maximum isolation and maximum load-carrying capacity, making it particularly well-suited to lighter, sensitive machinery where some movement compliance is required without sacrificing positional stability. Constructed using rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the mount is engineered to operate effectively in shear, compression, or a combination of both loading directions. The 60 Shore A grade delivers controlled deflection that dampens vibration and shock at moderate loads, characteristics valued in applications such as instrumentation, air-conditioning units, generator sets, and smaller industrial equipment where transmitted vibration affects either performance accuracy or operator comfort. Female Female Bobbins, also referred to as Type C Bobbins or Type 3 Bobbins are a low cost Anti Vibration Mount, suitable for reducing vibration & shock and a vast array of different applications. They should be used in either Shear or Compression or in a combination, however like all bobbins, not put into tension. Bobbins are available with many different thread Sizes, ranging from M3-M24 and in various lengths. Additional Bobbin Mounts sizes are available on request and can be produced in various grades of Stainless Steel and Oil & High Temperature resistant rubbers.
