Balancing vibration isolation with structural support, the Female-Female Bobbin Mount 5050FF10-60 is a 50 x 50 mm rubber-to-metal bonded anti-vibration mount threaded M10, rated to a maximum load of 86.0 kg with a deflection of 4.5 mm at 60 Shore A hardness. This mid-range hardness grade is engineered for installations where neither extreme isolation nor maximum load-carrying is the priority, making it well suited to compact or moderately loaded equipment that demands a dependable balance between movement damping and positional stability. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers the flexibility to accommodate varied mounting geometries. The 60 Shore A rubber compound occupies the mid-point of the available hardness range: softer than the firmer grades that carry heavier loads with reduced movement, yet firmer than softer grades optimised for maximum isolation at lower loads. This positions the 5050FF10-60 as a practical general-purpose choice across a broad spread of machine types. Typical applications drawn from the product family include air-conditioning units, instruments, generator sets, and industrial machinery and equipment, uses where moderate vibration and shock loads are present but mounting deflection must remain controlled. Female Female Bobbins, also referred to as Type C Bobbins or Type 3 Bobbins are a low cost Anti Vibration Mount, suitable for reducing vibration & shock and a vast array of different applications. They should be used in either Shear or Compression or in a combination, however like all bobbins, not put into tension. Bobbins are available with many different thread Sizes, ranging from M3-M24 and in various lengths. Additional Bobbin Mounts sizes are available on request and can be produced in various grades of Stainless Steel and Oil & High Temperature resistant rubbers.
