The Sealey AK622 ball-end hex socket bit set addresses this by allowing hex fixings to be driven with the shaft angled up to 30° from centre, giving access where a direct line is obstructed. The set contains seven 100mm socket bits covering 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12mm hex sizes, all on a 1/2" square drive. Sockets are forged from Chrome Vanadium steel with S2 steel hex bits, heat treated and chrome plated for corrosion resistance. A satin finish and knurled ring on each socket aids grip when hands or the workpiece are oily.
