Achieving correct fastener torque on Ribe® fasteners demands a dedicated bit set engineered to the profile — an application where standard hex or Torx tooling will not suffice. The Draper Expert 16345 Ribe® Socket Bit Set provides four purpose-made bits matched to the Ribe® fastener form, commonly encountered in automotive driveline and suspension assemblies. All four sockets are manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel with bits produced from S2 silicon steel finished to a sand blasted surface. Each socket measures 100mm in overall length providing the reach needed for recessed fastener locations. A knurled ring machined into each socket body delivers a positive grip when positioning by hand before drive engagement. The set is supplied on a steel socket retaining rail keeping all four sizes organised and secure in the workshop or on the vehicle. Contents comprise four Ribe® bits in the following drive sizes: M10 M12 M13 and M14 covering the range most frequently encountered in professional automotive work. The set is presented at Expert Quality level reflecting the specification of materials and manufacturing processes applied. The 1/2 inch square drive is compatible with standard 1/2 inch drive ratchets extensions and torque wrenches from the Draper Expert range and other compliant tooling.
