Security fixings demand dedicated tooling, and the Draper TX-STAR® Security Socket Bit Set provides a comprehensive 10-piece solution for workshop and field technicians working with tamper-resistant TX-STAR fasteners across automotive and industrial applications. Each of the ten sockets is manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel delivering the strength and durability required for driven fastener work. The bit ends are produced from S2 silicon steel with a sand-blasted finish chosen for its toughness under impact-style loading. Chrome plating provides added corrosion protection across the socket body while a knurled ring on each socket gives positive secure grip when selecting and seating the socket by hand. The set accepts a 3/8-inch square drive and the sockets are 100mm in length suited to reaching fasteners in recessed locations. The ten sockets cover sizes T10T T15T T20T T25T T27T T30T T40T T45T T47T and T50T addressing the most commonly encountered TX-STAR security sizes. All ten pieces are supplied on a steel socket retaining rail for organised storage and quick size identification at the bench. Draper TX-STAR® products are compatible with Torx fixing systems
