The Sealey AK6212 is a 7-piece metric ball-end hex socket bit set on a 3/8" square drive, designed to address exactly this problem. The ball-end bit design allows fixings to be driven with the hex shaft at up to 30° off-axis, giving access in confined or angled spaces that would defeat a standard hex bit. Each socket bit is 100mm in length and the set covers sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10mm. Sockets are forged from Chrome Vanadium steel with S2 steel hex bits, heat treated and chrome plated for corrosion resistance. A satin finish combined with a knurled ring helps maintain grip even with oily fingers.
