Cutting accurate external threads on 4 mm diameter stock requires a reliable die manufactured to consistent tolerances. The Draper 83807 Coarse Circular Die is produced from high carbon steel, a material chosen for its hardness and wear resistance in metal-cutting applications. The threads are accurately cut to ensure clean, repeatable thread formation during use. With a 13/16 inch outside diameter this circular die is sized to fit standard die stocks and holders designed for that OD. The coarse thread specification makes it suited to general-purpose threading work where a robust thread form is required on 4 mm fasteners studs or rod. The die is display packed making it straightforward to store and identify within a workshop environment. It is supplied as a single die.
