Each die in the set is a circular split design with a 1-inch outside diameter allowing adjustment when fitted to the included 1-inch O/D die holder. The dies are manufactured from carbon steel with cut threads delivering the rigidity required for reliable thread restoration on metric bolts studs and rods. The set includes five dies covering the following metric thread sizes: M6 x 1.00 mm M7 x 1.00 mm M8 x 1.25 mm M10 x 1.50 mm and M12 x 1.75 mm together with one 1-inch O/D die holder — six pieces in total. This selection of popular sizes makes the set well suited to general workshop and maintenance use.
