The Draper Expert 63520 Combination Tap and Die Set provides a 22-piece solution covering metric and BSP thread forms, making it suitable for a wide range of repair and fabrication tasks in the workshop. Manufactured from carbon steel to Expert Quality standard, the set includes seven metric dies (M3×0.5 through M12×1.75, all 1" O/D), two BSP dies (1/8" and 1/4" BSP), seven metric plug taps in the same metric range (1" O/D, American pattern, 1/2" capacity), two BSP taps (1/8" and 1/4" BSP), a 1" O/D die holder with guide, and a screw-pitch gauge screwdriver. This combination covers both cutting new threads and cleaning damaged existing ones on mild steel and aluminium workpieces. The full set is supplied in a two-tone, quarter-drawer EVA insert tray constructed from closed-cell foam. The tray is designed for use in Draper and Draper Expert tool chests and is compatible with other manufacturers' similar tool chest drawers, keeping every component organised and protected when not in use.
