The Draper 79204 Combination Tap and Die Set provides comprehensive coverage across Metric, UNF, and BSP thread forms, making it a versatile addition to any automotive, engineering, or general workshop. Manufactured from carbon steel the taps and dies in this set are suitable for cleaning and cutting threads on mild steel and aluminium. The 52-piece set includes 7 Metric dies (M3–M12) 5 UNF dies (1/4"" to 1/2"") and 2 BSP dies (1/8"" and 1/4"") all with a 1"" outside diameter. Complementing these are 14 taper taps covering the same thread sizes across all three standards. Two tap wrenches are included — an American pattern wrench with 1/2"" capacity and a 'T' type wrench with 1/4"" capacity — along with a 1"" O/D die holder with guide. The set also supplies 13 HSS twist drills sized correctly for tapping (2.5 to 11.8mm) a screw pitch gauge for thread identification a screwdriver a centre punch and 5 screw extractors (No.1 to No.5) for removing broken or seized fasteners. All contents are held in a plastic insert within a steel storage case for organised durable storage.
