Worn or inaccurate tyre inflation equipment costs time and increases error risk in a busy workshop. The PCL DAC1C06 is a digital handheld tyre inflator from the ACCURA 1 range, calibrated 0–12 bar, fitted with a 2.7 m (9 ft) hose and a twin clip-on tyre valve connector — designed for tyre shops, garages, car dealers and transport depots requiring rapid, accurate tyre inflation and deflation. The ACCURA 1 combines leading electronics and ceramic sensor technology with proprietary software algorithms to deliver guaranteed accuracy, fine metering and elimination of false readings. The direct valve mechanism increases both inflation and deflation rates, while the biomorphic handle supports comfortable operation during extended use. The digital display offers a resolution of 0.01 bar, and an over-pressure warning activates if pressure exceeds 12 bar / 174 psi / 1200 kPa. A low battery warning light and long battery life reduce downtime on the workshop floor. The unit is individually tested and certified to BS EN 12645:2014 and carries German PTB approvals (PTB 18.08/06.04). Operating temperature range is –20 °C to 60 °C. Maximum inlet pressure is 16 bar, with a flow rate of 500 l/min at 13 bar supply. The inlet/outlet connection is Rp 1/4. Modern, lightweight and shock-resistant construction supports a long product life and reduced cost of ownership. PCL describe this model as widely accepted as the best product available for measuring and checking Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
