Worn or inaccurate tyre pressure equipment leads to unsafe readings and wasted workshop time. The PCL DAC1C03 is a digital handheld tyre inflator from the ACCURA 1 range, calibrated 0–12 bar, with a 0.53 m (21 in) hose and twin hold-on valve connector — designed for tyre shops, garages, car dealers and transport depots requiring rapid, reliable tyre inflation and deflation. The DAC1C03 combines a digital display with a resolution of 0.01 bar and accuracy certified to BS EN 12645:2014. A ceramic sensor provides long-life accuracy, while proprietary software algorithms increase accuracy, enable fine metering and eliminate the chance of false readings. The direct valve design increases inflation and deflation rates, and an over-pressure warning activates if tyre pressure exceeds 12 bar / 174 psi / 1200 kPa. The unit accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 16 bar and delivers a flow rate of 500 l/min at 13 bar supply via an Rp 1/4 inlet/outlet connection. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C. German approvals (PTB 18.08/06.04) are held. The biomorphic handle and modern, lightweight, shock-resistant construction support comfortable prolonged use. A long battery life is provided, with a low battery warning light fitted as standard. The DAC1C03 is manufactured in Sheffield, United Kingdom, by PCL — part of HORNGROUP — with a manufacturing heritage dating to 1938.
