The SIP 03661 Pneumatic Coil Spring Compressor is a workshop-grade pneumatic tool designed to compress coil springs safely and powerfully across a variety of cars, SUVs and vans. With a maximum compression force of 2400kg (5291lb), it is built to handle demanding automotive suspension work in professional garages and workshops.
Safety is central to the design of the SIP 03661. A heavy-duty triple bar safety cage must be lowered and locked into position before the compressor will operate — an interlock that prevents use without this critical protection in place. A retention cable fitted with steel carabiners provides a further layer of security around the spring, helping to contain any spring should it become dislodged or damaged under load. The patented coil spring claws and a movable footplate beneath the spring work together to deliver secure, reliable load contact throughout the entire compression cycle.
The 2400kg compression force is generated by dual integrated pneumatic rams, with an air inlet pressure range of 73psi (5bar) to 145psi (10bar) via a 1/4" BSP female air inlet connection. An integrated foot pedal allows straightforward, hands-free operation during compression, keeping the operator's hands free to guide and manage the spring.
