The Sealey RE249 Professional Coil Spring Compressor Set addresses both concerns directly. It is supplied with five pairs of interchangeable yokes sized to cover right-hand and left-hand coil springs across a broad range of applications: Gold yokes suit springs from 80-105mm, Black RH/LH yokes cover 105-140mm, and Silver RH/LH yokes handle 145-190mm. The maximum jaw opening is 265mm and the drive is a 21mm hex. Each yoke is carefully shaped to prevent the spring bowing while under compression, and plastic yoke protectors are included to guard the spring coating throughout the procedure. Total compression capacity is 2500kg.
