The Sealey RE229 Professional Coil Spring Compressor Set is rated to 2500kg and is suitable for MacPherson strut coil springs, with a yoke extension bracket that also allows use on conical springs. Three pairs of interchangeable yokes are included Gold (80-105mm), Black (105-140mm), and Silver (145-190mm) giving a wide range of vehicle coverage from a single set. Safety yokes are carefully shaped to stop the spring bowing under compression, and plastic yoke protectors are included to shield the spring coating from damage that could otherwise invalidate the vehicle manufacturer's guarantee. Maximum jaw opening is 265mm, and the tool is driven by a 21mm hex.
