Product Number: AK3846
Compressing coil springs safely demands tools built for the job. Standard compressors can struggle with the longer coil springs found on many modern vehicles, creating risk and frustration. The Sealey AK3846 Long Reach Coil Spring Compressor set addresses this directly with extended jaws designed specifically for longer spring types, giving you secure engagement where shorter tools fall short. The wrapover coil jaws provide extra safety during compression, reducing the chance of jaw slip under load. Both compressors are constructed from carbon steel with hardened lead screws and cast jaws for strength and durability under repeated use. The 21mm hex and 1/2" square drive means you can apply torque with your existing drive tools. With a maximum jaw opening of 390mm and a combined capacity of 1,100kg per pair, this set handles a wide range of suspension work on modern passenger vehicles. Supplied as a 2-piece set.
