Open-frame petrol generators are a proven solution for delivering reliable power on construction sites, in workshops, and wherever mains electricity is unavailable or impractical. The Draper Expert 16143 addresses that need with a 420cc forced air-cooled four-cycle OHV engine producing a rated AC output of 6,000W (7.5kVA) and a maximum AC output of 6,500W (8.13kVA), all housed within a heavy-duty steel tubular frame that protects the engine and core components. Starting is made straightforward by the dual recoil and electric start system, with two keys supplied for the electric start. Anti-vibration mounts constructed from oil and fuel resistant materials reduce transmitted vibration during operation, while two large robust rubber wheels allow the 84kg generator to be repositioned around a site with minimal effort. The socket arrangement provides genuine versatility: two 110V 16A outlets, one 230V 32A outlet, and one 12V DC output, enabling simultaneous use of tools operating at either site voltage standard. The 25-litre fuel tank supports a continuous run time of eight hours at 75% load. The generator is compatible with both E5 and E10 petrol. Recommended oil is SAE 10W-40, available separately; oil capacity is 1.1 litres. Noise output is rated at 95dB(A). The unit arrives ready to work, supplied with a spark plug spanner, four combination spanners, a 12V charging lead, and two electric-start keys. Overall dimensions are 705mm (L) x 575mm (W) x 575mm (H); net weight is 84kg.
