Modern vehicles fitted with EFB, AGM, stop/start, hybrid or electric systems place demanding requirements on battery chargers that basic units simply cannot meet. The Sealey ECS350 is a fully electronic, microprocessor-controlled battery charger and starter supporting 12V and 24V electrical systems, with a charge peak of 60A (40A EN) and a start peak of 350A (250A EN). It covers a battery range of 4 to 450Ah and is compatible with EFB, AGM/GEL, Lead Acid, Lead Calcium and Silver Calcium batteries, including those found on electric and hybrid vehicles. Up to ten analysis and charge phases including trickle and maintenance modes are managed using ECS (Electronic Control Systems) technology, which stabilises charging current for improved efficiency and reduced charging times. An LED read-out provides an instant visual check of battery condition, charge current, voltage and charging rate. Surge and spike protection safeguards sensitive vehicle systems such as ABS, airbag sensors, ignition and audio systems during charging and starting. The built-in Battery Support Unit (BSU) mode holds battery voltage at 13.5V/25A during prolonged electronic diagnostic checks and software updates, preventing battery drain. Cable and clamp length is 2m. Supply is 230V/16A. Polarity protection is provided by dual 80A fuses (replacement fuse part numbers: 120/122351 single, 120/802260 pack of 20). Backed by a 2-year guarantee.
