Supplied with a standard 230v (13A) plug and built around a durable metal casing, it combines robust construction with the convenience of a mobile, wheel-mounted format.
At the heart of the STARTMASTER PW520 is a versatile charging and boost system offering three charge rate settings plus a dedicated boost function. Maximum charging current reaches 42A on 12v or 21A on 24v, with average outputs of 25A and 12.5A respectively, covering batteries up to 200Ah capacity. For jump-starting purposes, maximum boost current reaches 260A on a fully discharged battery and 145A on a medium-charged battery. An integrated ammeter provides a clear, easy-to-read display for precise monitoring throughout the charge or start cycle.
The PW520 is compatible with a broad range of battery chemistries including Lead Acid (PB), SLA, AGM, GEL, WET and VRLA, making it suitable for the majority of 12v and 24v vehicle and equipment batteries encountered in professional workshop environments. Safety is addressed through reverse polarity, short circuit and overload protection as standard. The unit carries an IP20 protection rating, a Class F insulation rating and an internal fuse rated at 120A. Quality crocodile clamps and leads are included.
