Mounted on wheels and housed in a durable metal casing, it delivers up to 500A maximum boost current for jump-starting cars and small vehicles from a standard 230v 50Hz supply.
The STARTMASTER PWT1000 supports a wide range of battery chemistries — Lead Acid, SLA, AGM, GEL, WET and VRLA — across both 12v and 24v systems, making it suitable for a broad mix of automotive and workshop applications. Six charge rate settings plus a dedicated boost mode provide the flexibility to match the charger's output to the battery at hand, while the integrated ammeter gives a clear, accurate current reading throughout the process. An integrated charging timer adds further control for unattended operation.
Maximum charging current reaches 68A on 12v and 34A on 24v, with a maximum battery capacity of 370Ah. For jump-starting, the unit delivers 500A from a fully discharged battery and 330A from a medium-charged battery. The internal fuse is rated at 200A, insulation is Class F, and protection is rated IP20. Safety provisions include reverse polarity, short circuit and overload protection, and the package includes crocodile clamps and leads. The recommended supply plug for charging is a standard 230v 13A fitting; for jump-start operation a 230v 63A plug is recommended (neither supplied).
