The blade is manufactured from high-quality 1mm 65Mn carbon steel that has been correctly hardened, tempered, straightened and stress relieved to ensure both strength and straightness throughout its working life. The double-ground tooth set is engineered to deliver faster cutting with optimal sawdust removal in both forward and reverse motions, reducing effort and keeping the cut line clear. At 550mm in length and rated at 7tpi/8ppi, this is a first-fix specification saw suited to structural and framing timber work where fast, aggressive cutting is required. The finely ground blade surface is coated with an ultra-tough lacquer that protects against corrosion and eases friction during use, allowing the blade to glide more freely through the workpiece.
