The Draper Venom® Second Fix Triple Ground Handsaw (82202) is built to meet that demand, with a blade manufactured from high quality 1mm thick 65Mn carbon steel that has been correctly hardened, tempered, straightened and stress relieved to ensure lasting strength and straightness throughout its working life. The triple ground tooth geometry sets the blade apart in practical use. The set of the tooth delivers faster cutting with optimal sawdust removal in both forward and reverse motions, reducing effort and keeping the cut line clear. The finely ground blade surface is coated with an ultra-tough lacquer that protects against corrosion whilst easing friction when sawing, so the blade glides through material rather than dragging. User comfort over extended working periods is addressed through an ergonomic soft grip handle designed to reduce fatigue even during prolonged use. At 500mm with a cutting rate of 11tpi/12ppi, this handsaw is suited to second fix joinery work. It is display packed and supplied as a single unit.
