Forged from chrome vanadium steel and subjected to a full hardening and tempering process, the long-pattern body offers the rigidity required for high-torque applications. A chrome-plated, fully polished finish throughout resists corrosion and facilitates cleaning in demanding workshop environments. The HI-TORQ® ring profile is engineered to apply load to the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, reducing the risk of rounding fastener heads under load. This spanner is generally in accordance with DIN 838 specifications, confirming its suitability for professional automotive and industrial use. Supplied in a polybag with barcode label, it is drawn from the same Draper Expert HI-TORQ® range that spans 6 x 7mm through to 20 x 22mm, allowing workshops to build a complete matched set.
