The ring end features a 180-degree flex head carrying a 90-tooth ratchet mechanism that allows just 4 degrees of movement per stroke, enabling effective use in confined spaces where a standard ratchet spanner cannot operate. The open end is offset at 15 degrees to provide additional clearance and improved access angles. The 12-point HI-TORQ® ring profile is engineered to transfer torque to the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, maximising leverage and significantly reducing the risk of slipping or rounding fastener heads. This stubby format is particularly suited to applications where overall spanner length must be minimised, complementing the flex head's ability to negotiate obstructed working positions.
