Stubby combination spanners are purpose-built for working in confined areas where a full-length tool cannot reach or swing freely. The Draper HI-TORQ® Metric Stubby Flexible Head Ratchet Combination Spanner in 13mm is forged from chrome vanadium steel that is hardened, tempered, fully polished and mirror chrome plated for corrosion protection. The ring end features a 180° flex head carrying a 90-tooth ratchet mechanism that allows 4° of movement per tooth engagement, enabling productive use in restricted spaces without removing and repositioning the spanner on every stroke. The open end is offset at 15° to provide clearance over surrounding components. The 12-point HI-TORQ® ring profile transfers torque to the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, maximising leverage whilst reducing the risk of rounding or damaging fastener heads. This combination of flex head, ratcheting action and stubby profile makes the spanner well suited to assembly, maintenance and repair tasks where space is at a premium.
