Drive is transferred through a 12-point HI-TORQ® ring profile that engages the flats of the fastener rather than its corners, maximising leverage whilst reducing the risk of rounding or fastener damage under load. The spanner is forged from chrome vanadium steel and subjected to hardening and tempering processes to develop the toughness expected of professional workshop tooling. A full polish and mirror chrome plating finish provides corrosion protection suitable for workshop environments. The tool covers the 14 mm and 15 mm metric sizes, two of the most frequently encountered fastener dimensions across automotive and general mechanical work.
