The Draper Expert HI-TORQ® 18mm flexible head ratchet combination spanner is manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel, finished with black electroplating for effective corrosion protection. The 100-tooth ratchet mechanism delivers 3.6° of movement per tooth, allowing the spanner to operate in confined spaces where a full swing is not possible. The head flexes through 180°, and the open end is set at 15° to the shaft, further extending reach and versatility in restricted areas. The ring end features the 12-point Draper Expert HI-TORQ® profile, engineered to grip the flats of a fastener rather than its corners. This geometry spreads the load across the flats, transmitting more torque to the nut or bolt while significantly reducing the risk of rounding the fastener corners — a particular advantage when working with corroded or tight fixings. This 18mm spanner is available individually or as part of a set. Sets are supplied in a storage and carry rack for organised access in the workshop or on site.
