The ring end features a 90-tooth ratchet mechanism that requires only 4° of movement per stroke, allowing the spanner to engage and drive fasteners even in severely restricted access points. The 12-point HI-TORQ® ring profile transfers torque directly to the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, maximising leverage and significantly reducing the risk of rounding or slipping under load. The open end is offset at 15° to provide clearance and improve access angle across a range of applications. Constructed from chrome vanadium steel that has been forged, hardened and tempered, the spanner is fully polished and mirror chrome plated to deliver robust corrosion resistance and a long service life in workshop environments.
