The ring end features a 90-tooth ratchet mechanism that permits 4° of movement per stroke, making it well suited to fastening and loosening in tight, restricted spaces where a standard-length spanner cannot operate freely. The open end is offset at 15° to provide additional clearance at the working angle. The 12-point HI-TORQ® ring profile transfers torque directly to the flats of the fastener, maximising leverage while reducing the risk of rounding or slipping on the fastener head.
