The 100-tooth ratchet mechanism enables a 3.6° arc of movement, while the open end is set at 15° to help negotiate restricted access points where a conventional spanner cannot function effectively. The ring end is 12-point HI-TORQ®, a design that grips the flats of the fastener rather than the corners. This approach spreads the load across the flats, transmitting more torque to the nut or bolt whilst reducing the risk of corner damage under high loading. The 17mm spanner is available individually or as part of a set. Sets are supplied with a storage and carry rack for organised access in the workshop or on site.
