Electrical work demands precise torque control to avoid stripping screws and damaging live-circuit connections — the Draper 81762 XP1000® VDE Interchangeable Torque Screwdriver Set (19 Piece) addresses that need directly. The insulated torque screwdriver handle is adjustable from 1.0 to 5.0Nm (accuracy ±6%), and the two-piece moulded handle and blade sleeve enables blades to be seated deep within the handle, eliminating the risk of flashover. The ergonomic soft-grip bi-material handle allows free spinning in the palm for rapid tightening and full torque transfer when required, while flat sides prevent rolling on the workbench. All 19 interchangeable blades are individually tested to 10,000V and are suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The blades are manufactured from SVCM steel for added strength and feature a press-in auto-lock action with a straightforward release method. The set is manufactured and individually certified to EN 60900, and a calibration certificate is supplied as standard. PZ TYPE blades are compatible with Posidrive®/Supadriv® fixing systems. The set includes plain slot, cross slot, PZ TYPE, Draper TX-STAR®, and PZ/SL blades across a range of sizes, plus an insulated standard handle and an insulated precision handle, providing complete versatility from one set. Additional insulated and precision screwdriver handles extend the range further beyond torque-controlled work. The full 19-piece set is supplied in a canvas roll for secure storage and transportation. The XP1000® range carries a Lifetime Warranty.
