Precise torque control is critical in electrical work, where over-tightening can damage screw heads, compromise insulation, and introduce risk. The Draper XP1000® VDE Interchangeable Torque Screwdriver Set provides a dedicated solution for torque-controlled tightening in electrical applications, with an adjustment scope of 1.0–5.0Nm at an accuracy of ±6%, and is supplied with a calibration certificate as standard. The handle and blade sleeve are moulded in two pieces, enabling blades to seat deep within the handle and eliminate the risk of flashover. An ergonomic bi-material soft grip handle allows free spinning in the palm for rapid screw tightening, whilst also transferring torque when required. Flat sides prevent the tool from rolling on work surfaces. All components are manufactured and individually certified to EN 60900, individually tested to 10,000V, and rated for use on live circuits of up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The eight interchangeable blades are manufactured from SVCM steel and feature a press-in auto lock action with a simple release mechanism. The set includes four plain slot blades (3.0×60mm, 4.0×80mm, 5.5×80mm, 6.5×100mm), two cross slot blades (No.1×80mm, No.2×100mm), and two PZ TYPE blades (No.1×80mm, No.2×100mm). PZ TYPE blades are compatible with Pozidriv®/Supadriv® fixing systems. The complete set is supplied in a canvas roll for secure transportation and storage.
