Working safely on live electrical systems demands tools that meet recognised safety standards, and the Draper 13668 VDE Approved Screwdriver Set is manufactured to VDE 0680/2 and DIN 57680 Part 2 specifications, making it suitable for use on live lines up to 1000V. The set comprises five screwdrivers: three plain slot types in 75 x 2.5 mm, 100 x 3.5 mm, and 125 x 5.5 mm, together with two cross slot screwdrivers in No.1 and No.2 sizes. Each screwdriver features a blade manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered for durability, paired with a heavy insulated handle designed to provide the electrical protection and grip required for professional use. The handles carry heavy insulation appropriate to the 1000V rating, ensuring a reliable barrier between the user and live conductors. The set arrives display packed, making it suitable for both workshop storage and retail environments. With five sizes covering the most common plain slot and cross slot configurations, this set provides a practical solution for electricians, maintenance engineers, and any trade professional requiring VDE-rated hand tools.
