Fine adjustment ensures optimum adaptation to different workpiece sizes whilst maintaining a comfortable handle width throughout. The self-locking jaw mechanism grips pipes and nuts without slipping, requiring low hand force from the operator. The gripping surfaces feature specially hardened teeth with a hardness of approximately 61 HRC, providing high wear resistance and stable, confident gripping across a range of materials and profiles. A box-joint design affords high stability through a double guide, whilst reliable catching of the hinge bolt prevents any unintentional shifting during use. A pinch guard is incorporated into the design to protect operators' fingers during adjustment and operation. The tool offers 30 adjustment positions, accommodating pipes up to 70mm diameter (2 3/4 in) and nuts up to 60mm.
