The KNIPEX Cobra® QuickSet High-Tech Water Pump Pliers in 300mm deliver precisely that through a patented QuickSet mechanism: fully open, push, grab. Sliding the pliers handle adjusts the gripping width directly on the workpiece, eliminating the need to reset the tool away from the job. Once the first workload is applied, the hinge bolt locks reliably and the gripping width is fixed. To re-activate the sliding function, the push button must be pressed and the pliers fully opened again, preventing accidental adjustment mid-task. The tool offers 25 adjustment positions, accommodating pipes up to 70mm diameter (2 3/4 inches) and nuts up to 60mm. The gripping surfaces feature specially hardened teeth rated at approximately 61 HRC, providing high wear resistance and a stable grip. Self-locking geometry on pipes and nuts means the tool grips without slipping, while low hand force is required to maintain that grip. The box-joint design provides double-guide stability, and an integrated pinch guard protects the operator's fingers during use.
