Self-locking geometry ensures the pliers grip pipes and nuts without slipping, requiring low hand force throughout. The gripping surfaces feature special hardened teeth with a hardness of approximately 61 HRC, delivering high wear resistance and stable gripping across extended use. The box-joint design provides high stability through a double guide, whilst reliable catching of the hinge bolt prevents unintentional shifting during operation. A pinch guard is incorporated to protect the operator's fingers. With 30 adjustment positions, the Cobra® accommodates a wide range of workpiece sizes. Pipe capacity reaches a diameter of 70 mm (2¾ in) and nut capacity extends to 60 mm.
