The cutting edges are separately induction hardened to 64 HRC, enabling the tool to cut piano wire and hard wire cleanly without edge deformation. Rather than a conventional centre rivet, the cutter features a forged-on pivot that provides extra leverage, reducing the hand force required on each cut. The head is angled at 12°, allowing wire to be cut flush where it protrudes from a flat surface — a geometry particularly useful in electronics assembly, panel wiring, and precision fabrication work. Handles are plastic coated for secure grip during use. The tool is manufactured to DIN ISO 5749 specifications and is supplied display packed.
