The precisely shaped tips allow wires to be cut close to a surface from as fine as 0.2 mm in diameter, making this tool well suited to intricate electronics assembly, fine mechanics, and component-level work. Cutting capacity for soft wire runs from 0.2 mm to 1.6 mm diameter, with medium hard wire capacity up to 1.0 mm diameter. The jaw length measures 9 mm, jaw thickness at the joint is 7.5 mm, and head width is 13.5 mm. Cutting edge hardness is approximately 54 HRC. The joint uses a stainless steel rivet for durability and extremely smooth movement, reducing operator fatigue during extended use.
