The SIP 06865 SUB 3040 is a 400W (0.5hp) submersible clean water pump designed for draining clean water from flooded cellars, basements, small water and collection tanks, work sites, wells, and hot tubs. Clean water is defined as water free from large particle contamination. Suited to domestic or light commercial use, this pump is intended for intermittent use and is not designed for permanent installation.
The SUB 3040 delivers a maximum flow rate of 9,000 litres per hour, discharging water to a maximum pumping head of 6 metres via a 25mm to 40mm outlet (1" BSP). A maximum operating depth of 7 metres and a 9-metre power cable allow the pump to be lowered into position with confidence and flexibility. The plastic body keeps the unit lightweight, and a carry handle supports both portability and safe lowering into water. IPX8 protection ensures the pump is rated for full submersion.
With a maximum particle diameter tolerance of 5mm and a maximum operating water temperature of 35°C, the SUB 3040 handles typical domestic and light commercial drainage tasks reliably. The pump runs on a standard 230V 50Hz supply and is well suited to garden maintenance purposes in addition to emergency drainage situations. It can help prevent costly damage to property and work areas from recurring rainwater or groundwater ingress.
