Professional workshop and fleet environments demand a jump starter capable of tackling the heaviest diesel applications without compromise. The Schumacher® PBI 2400HD is engineered for exactly that purpose, delivering 2,400CA in 12V mode to start diesel engines up to 1,500HP, with a selectable 24V mode providing 1,200CA for larger commercial vehicle systems. Voltage selection is handled via Anderson connectors, making the transition between 12V and 24V systems straightforward and secure. At the heart of the unit are two professional 1,200CA AGM batteries offering high efficiency and the combined output required for demanding cold-start conditions. The 50mm² cables measure 1.52 metres in length and terminate in heavy-duty curved double-insulated clamps, ensuring a firm, safe connection to battery terminals. An in-line 500A fuse provides short-circuit protection, and a reverse polarity alarm alerts the operator to incorrect connections before any damage can occur. One spare fuse is supplied as standard. The unit is housed in a robust rotomolded casing and features a carry handle, a retractable pull handle, and puncture-proof wheels, keeping the 30.5kg unit manageable across a workshop floor or yard. A 12V outlet supports memory saver mode, preserving vehicle ECU settings during battery work. The integrated automatic charger operates at 4A. Overall dimensions are 475 x 290 x 550mm.
