A main switch enables spark-free connection to the vehicle battery, removing one of the most common hazards associated with jump-starting, while the reverse polarity alarm and anti-spiking protection guard both the booster and the vehicle's electrical system. A 300A in-line fuse provides a further layer of defence against excessive current output. The digital display presents the voltage of both the internal batteries and the connected vehicle simultaneously, giving the operator clear, accurate information before and during use. Heavy-duty curved clamps are designed for easy and optimal connection to battery terminals, and the 1.7-metre, 33mm² cables provide sufficient reach across a range of vehicle configurations. With 1800CA at 12V and 900CA at 24V, the unit is suited to petrol and diesel passenger cars through to commercial vehicles. The built-in 2A automatic charger keeps the internal batteries maintained, and a USB port allows mobile devices to be charged from the unit. A 12V outlet doubles as a memory saver connection, preserving vehicle ECU data during battery work. The robust case with protective rubber bumpers provides shockproofing for demanding workshop environments. The unit weighs 20.8kg and measures 425 x 230 x 455mm.
