The Draper 12429 is a 230V submersible clean water pump designed for general irrigation and similar clean-water pumping applications, delivering a maximum output of 191 litres per minute against a maximum head height of 9.5 metres. The pump is fitted with a float switch that automatically switches the unit off when the water level drops, preventing dry running. Thermal overload protection provides an additional layer of defence against motor damage during extended operation. The output aperture measures 32mm in diameter, and the pump will handle particles up to 3mm in diameter, making it suitable for water that carries fine sediment. Power is supplied via a 10-metre cable, giving useful reach without requiring an extension lead in most site situations. The unit is supplied complete with a heavy-duty 5-metre x 25mm layflat hose and adaptor, with a hose adaptor diameter of 19mm. Rated at 550W and operating on a standard 230V supply, the pump weighs 4.5 kilograms.
